Good Food, Good Friends!

We had a great group that attended the Oktoberfest. It was our first, but with plenty of food and 6 new couples that attended along with many of our followers...it was beautiful and yummy! The Apple Beer was a big hit for the young and old. If your looking for a yummy drink that is non-alcholic and caffeine free, give that a try.

"I enjoyed the evening very much. I especially like the outdoor venue at the park. It gives us something a little different to do instead of eating at the same old indoor restaurant. The food was outstanding as always. I have never sampled real German cuisine like that and I was very favorably impressed. The other great thing was the all-you-can-eat format of the meal. BYU Fall Social

We catered for the Plant and Wildlife department at BYU. What a wonderful park! I wish it was my backyard. The sound of the river right behind the tables was wonderful. It is always great to meet new friends. Thanks Carolyn!

Stuffed Salmon and Steak Dinner Went Great!

It was once again a beautiful evening spent with friends and good food. We were asked once where our restaurant was and my response was, "Down here at the Pond a few days a year!" Who wouldn't want to eat outside! Thanks everyone, once again. Great turnout. Look forward to the Oktoberfest!

Thank you so so much for having us to your Steak and Salmon dinner last week. We had the best time. The atmosphere was spectacular and the food even better. My husband decided to throw some fresh grilled peaches in with the pineapple. They were filled with cobbler topping along with ice-cream and homemade caramel. Some had a bit of both!

Southern Boil Success!

We couldn't have had more fun! We had more than double from last year....beautiful weather, met new friends... what more can I say- other than JOIN US next year! and come to the next event in September- Stuffed Salmon and Steak! Thanks Trac for helping me with the pics!

Oktoberfest

We were wondering if anyone would be interested in doing an Oktoberfest down at the Pond (Salem, Utah- 20 min. South of Provo) with in celebration of the German Heritage. My father is from Germany and we enjoy German food for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Rick loves to make the Bratwurst, and has become a great German cook with Spatzle, Sauerkraut, pickled herring, Sweet Red Cabbage, Rolaten (thin steak, pickle, ham rolled up inside), Yummy Garlic mashed potatoes, Sauerkraut and the best Stollen (sweet bread) and Bienenstich ever! (desserts). It will be nippy, but perfect with fires in the pit and Warm Apple Cider or Apple Beer to drink! Let us know! We are thinking it would be between $17-20 pp. Thinking the date would be October 10th around 5 p.m.
